About ME
I’m a culture and lifestyle journalist with nearly 20 years’ experience working for magazines and newspapers.
I started my career writing real life and human interest stories, interviewing people with incredible experiences and learning that everyone has a tale to tell. I went on to work as a writer and editor on the features desks of magazines including Grazia, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Fabulous and Marie Claire.
I’m now freelance and my work features in BBC Culture, The Telegraph Magazine, Stella Magazine, Shondaland, The Times and more. Whether it’s spending a week hanging out with robots to see if they can be a cure for loneliness, reporting on how Generation X are experiencing the mid-life crisis (clue: less splurging on a Porsche, more searching for purpose) or exploring the resurgence of indie bookshops, I’m interested in how trends in culture and society are shifting.
Over the past few years I’ve also used my journalistic background to help brands tell their stories in an authentic and impactful way, working on branded content projects and providing social, email and long form copywriting services. I've created content (print and digital) for companies including Marks and Spencer, Xero, MasterCard, Shiseido, Warner Bros, Jo Malone, Dove and Vue Cinemas.
I’m always open to new projects and collaborations so do get in touch if you’d like to discuss working together.
